Professional Development Information and Resources are available under the Curriculum & Instruction Tab on the top of the JCS district webpage.  Those pages include:

 PD Documents & Resources

The PD Documents & Resources page includes links to the following resources that may be helpful as we near the end of the school year.  Use this quick access URL to quickly access this page at any time, from any internet browser:

  • 2017-2018 PD Forms that are due to CO by May 15, 2018.  (Be sure to check with your principal or supervisor for building or and departmental submission deadlines).
  • JCS Professional Development Archives.  Teachers can access sign-in documents for JCS Professional Development Events.  These documents can be copied or sniped and uploaded to TNCompass as evidence of attendance.

    • Note:  April 13 Mini Session Attendance Forms, as well as Session Descriptions, are available in the 2017-2018 Folder.  Teachers that led sessions may not have had time to sign in for their own sessions.  These teachers should use the session descriptions as evidence of attendance, if necessary.  Feel free to contact a Content Specialist, Amy Sharp, or Deedra Hillard for questions and/or support.

  • June Self-Selected In-Service Approval Form.

  • Professional Development Feedback form:  Feel free to provide feedback regarding Professional Development sessions that you have attended this year.

Professional Development Opportunites

These resources are available to provide educators with quick access to the most up-to-date information about district-wide scheduled dates and self-selected opportunities.

  • All PD Leaders should have access to add and edit information on this page.
